GetMoby is a pioneer company that brings location based advertising to a new level. Based in South Florida, the GetMoby team developed a cellular application that allows users to look for discount coupons from stores around them, from their cell phones. This application works on GPS and AGPS based cellular phones, but also works on regular cell phones. The GetMoby host feeds the cellular application with real time discount coupon information.
This revolutionary concept allows end users to get discount coupons anytime they want, anywhere they are, without having to depend on newspapers, magazines or printed coupons; and store owners can drive more targetted traffic to their businesses.

Management team

Alvaro Albarracin: Mr Albarracin was the CEO and Founder of Dialtone Internet, a Dedicated Hosting provider which was ranked the third fastest-growing company by The South Florida Business Journal 'Fast Track 40 List'. In 2001, Web Hosting Magazine named Alvaro and the Chief Executive of the year. Alvaro sold Dialtone to Web.com, formally known as Interand (Stock: WWWW), the combination of which resulted in the world�s largest hosting company. After the sale, Interland named Alvaro Senior Vice President of dedicated hosting where he was directly responsible for record annual revenue growth from $40 to $100 million. Prior to Dialtone Internet he was the Founder and CEO of T3Hosting.com, a shared hosting company that was acquired by Sage Networks. Recently Alvaro was appointed The Entrepreneur of Entrepreneurs for Growing in Grace International Ministries, where he is the lead advisor to over 450 CEO's in Latin America. Alvaro is also on the Board of Advisors for Healthcare.com.

Laurie Misner: Ms Misner has extensive experience in both the public and private financial sectors, including mergers and acquisitions, consolidation of operational entities, as well as raising funds in both the corporate debt and equity markets. Misner served as CFO for Colonial Development Group, a real estate development company with over $1.5 billion under development. Previous to Colonial, Misner was the CFO and shareholder of Dialtone, inc., a dedicated hosting provider. Laurie raised over $7 million in capital and negotiated the sale of the company to Web.com, formerly known as Interland (stock: WWWW). Prior to Dialtone, Laurie was CFO for Zodiac Pool, a multinational division of Groupe Zodiac, where she helped grow the company from $12 million to $70 million in revenue over 3 years. Misner began her career with Ernst & Young. Ms. Misner is responsible for all facets of financial and information management, with a strong emphasis in strategic planning and operational management. Ms. Misner holds a BS degree from Florida Atlantic University and is a certified public accountant in the state of New York.

Marcelo Pham: Mr Pham holds a software engineering degree and brings to GetMoby more than 15 years of experience in software, web and embedded application design and development, having served billion plus dollar clients such as Sony Latin America, Midtown Group, Trend USA Ltd just to name a few. Mr. Pham has also experience in startups consulting for a variety of industries such as Internet, import/export, manufacturing, real estate, e-commerce and business services. Mr. Pham collaborates with the technology industry by mentoring and guiding fellow engineers and entrepreneurs online. From 1999 to 2001 he helped with his expertise by writing column articles for Linux.com, the number one online portal for Linux and open source developers.
